Personality and Physical description
After years of torment and ridicule by his peers, Aoi has developed a more reserved nature, but at the same time seeks to gain the acceptance of those around them, and in turn gain their friendship. Because of this Aoi disregards his delusions to anyone but himself, because of this, he can often be seen sitting alone, whether because of the lack of companions or because of his delusions. Aoi often claims that his delusions have given him insight to the corruption and inner self of man, and that is why his eyes have a deeper depth to them than most. Aoi wears his hair long, just past his shoulders, and despite rarely being out in the sun for prolonged periods of time. When Aoi moved out, in an effort to declare his independence, he had the right side of his lip pierced. Aoi in general, is a mellow and kind person, despite being more reserved of nature. Even if ridiculed for his disorders, he will not outright say that he does not find someone appealing, but will stop talking about the disorders altogether in an effort to keep the friend.

Mental Disorder
Insomnia , Schizophrenia [Sub-Visual Hallucinations/Delusions]

Diagnosed with Insomnia from a very young age, as of yet, no pills have had any long term effects.
Diagnosed with Delusional Disorder not long after Insomnia, it is thought to be a by-product of the lack of sleep, because it is not a particularly progressed case, no action has yet been taken.

History
Aoi has been in and out of hospitals as a child, due to over-protective parents, in hopes that his insomnia would somehow be controlled or cured. Aoi lived a normal childhood, despite the mental illnesses, and despite not having very many friends due to the things he brought up based on the delusion disorder. When Aoi reached the age of 18, he detached from his parents and moved out, tired of their constant need to submit him to hospitals. However, by the time Aoi was 20, after many failed attempts at keeping a steady job, Aoi was prompted to return with his parents and promptly hospitalized in the 304 Asylum due to an increase in the severity of his disorders. He has been there since, with no outlook on leaving any time soon.
